The Services and Project Coordinator must be an organiser and be able to communicate effectively with the Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller community, the wider public, partners and stakeholders. Community Advocate

Job Brief We are looking for a Community Advocate to join our team and work as a frontline worker to support Gypsy Roma Traveller communities. This position will serve as a liaison between services and our communities to facilitate access to a quality service. Community Advocate responsibilities include staffing tables at community events, helping our users to complete applications and other paperwork, creating community outreach programs and activities. Ultimately, you will work with a diverse range of Gypsy Roma and Traveller people to ensure they have access and resources needed to meet their needs.
Community Support Worker
Hours: 16 hours per week

The community support worker will be an organiser and be able to communicate effectively with the GRT communities, the wider public, partners and stakeholders and will be based at the GATE Herts Office in Cuffley.

Based at the office of GATE Herts Community Hub in Cuffley, the Project/Hub Manager is a key Team member who manages staff and develops and manages the Hub, it’s resources, systems and services for the benefit of GATE Herts and the GRT community
